Initially DJW Projects were engaged by The Hugo’s group to design and execute the audio component for the new SKYY bar extensions. Shortly into design proposals in was agreed upon by both parties to explore the realms of completely refitting the entire Hugo’s Lounge, Cocktail bar, Skyy bar one and two as well as the entire outdoor balcony area and the soon to be opened private room.
Originally Hugo’s lounge had been designed and operated as a restaurant, As the years have gone by and the venue has developed in size, the main room activities began to resemble a night club. It had now come time to fit Hugo’s with a world class audio system worthy of any chic club on the globe.
No corners were cut as we began to fit the entire venue with an array of EAW speakers ranging from DC5 & DC6 Avalon boxes for the dance floor, through to JFX88 as room fill and CIS400 ceiling speakers for the balcony. Skyy bar has been fitted with speaker cabinets from the MK range and all processing & zoning was digitally performed with Symnet.
